I don’t know much about cars to tell the truth, and I’ve heard that it really depends on the model, not the year (as much). I know it has to do with condition, how much is original… but if all of that is in the “good” condition, what year would it become a classic?

i have been trying to find the history of my 64 pontiac using the vin number online.the problem is that all the sites i have found want a 17 character vin number and mine only has 8 characters in it.im trying to find out what state it came from,etc.PLEASE HELP!!thank you.
